Aditya Roy Kapur: Am I single? Let’s just say, I am chilling
Aditya Roy Kapur is your quintessential Mumbai kid — easygoing, cool, unstarry, unassuming and amusing. In an industry where being politically right is the unwritten standard, his unconstrained repartees come as a much needed refresher. In a freewheeling talk with BT, the youthful performing artist talks about his up and coming film 'alright Jaanu', wellness, connections and Katrina Kaif.
Notwithstanding your prevalence, you are agreeably unstarry...
Popularity has influenced me positively. In all actuality, I never needed to be an on-screen character; I grew up like whatever other child. I didn't have a place with the film business, nor did I think 'fundamental legend banoonga'. I've worked my way up doing supporting parts. I took up London Dreams (2009) on the grounds that it was shot abroad (grins). I want to watch shake shows live, yet it's difficult to experience that route subsequent to turning into an on-screen character. With everything taken into account, it has been an excursion of self-disclosure.
